25" Overbury's Connoisseur refurbed

Been stored inside, outside, in a tent, under tarp, in a leaky shed………. Poor thing. Gave it some attention. Gathered a few scars and dinks along the way. Never mind, all part of life’s rich pattern I suppose

Really nice paintjob. Quintessentially British I suppose. Never seen it here. Fun to see how it has evolved through the years.

I went through the thread and got a bit of inspiration for my new one.👍

Sorry History Man, I missed your post! I'd get the Longstaff powder coated at Griffs in Speedwell, Bristle. He came highly recommended by club members.

Hi, new member here.
Just wondering if I could pick your brains. Does your Connoisseur have a frame number? I've picked up a Connoisseur but can't find a frame number on it (or any sign of disturbed paintwork where one may have been removed in the past, the paint looks to be the original finish too).
If you know where the frame number was normally stamped and can let me know I'd be grateful.
Thanks, Ken.
