I've recently bought some judy xc's off eBay as a project really. At the moment the forks aren't moving at all not even when i push down on them. As such I haven't been able to remove the uppers from the lowers. I'm now wondering if what I'm doing is correct.
I've removed the top caps. Then loosened the two 5m Allen bolts at the bottom of the fork and then tapped with a hammer. Nothing seemed to move though. I then tried to remove the lowers from the uppers but nothing moved.
Have I missed anything or does anyone have any suggestions?
