1997 Cannondale BOTE build.

Time to get this build finally started.

I have a fully refurbished 1999 cannondale Ashton signature in blue which is a mostly nos build, and I want a matching red one to go with it.

This wont be a 1/1 Martyn team bike replica as that’s been done a few times now, this will have my own twist on it.

So here she is. A 1997 cannondale BOTE in viper red. It’s pretty clean for its age.




Fork choice, original fatty r’s.



Headset will either be a NOS yellow orbit or yellow grease guard.




Club roost triple traps, my shins bleed just looking at them


And some NOS yellow sachs wavy power grips.

NOS magura hs22 raceline d’s and horseshoe boosters.



Rims, 36h mavic d521 ceramics (new decals are on order)



NOS kore elite stem upfront for the cockpit.



NOS El Gatos for my tyre choice unless I can find some 2.25 kujo’s.



I have some very faded pink mk1 36h hope bulbs that are being re anodised back to their former glory very soon to complete the wheel build. They should be done in a few weeks.
