Perhaps I've used a little artistic license there. It should probably read 'built under the supervision of Jeff Lindsey...' as the article says Altitude Cycles had 14 employees (although presumably not all frame-welders!).

Still, the welds are really excellent and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, I'll stick with saying Jeff built it

How is the ride compared with your Lavadome? I've only had the chance to ride a couple of 853 frames and found them to be uber smooth - guess this is the same?
