A mate of mine had what i thought was the 1995 AA - bright purple. It was absolutely brilliant, one of the best bikes I've riden, so I'm surprised there's not more fans of them out there.
Think you've done a really tidy job - I wouldn't worry about the odd chip - nice to see it has had some life rather than stuck in a garage looking nice
