That is a shock - but the whole using the frame and a vice thing, seems to work when others don't.

Out of curiosity, are the BB threads steel inserts, or just threads in the frame's TI BB housing?

If TI, it kind of reggaes with things I've read about threads in TI being a bit, well, "sticky".

I've got the brochure from 95, so can post a scan of your frame / bike brochure page, if you haven't got it already.

Progress report

Did a little bit on the frame today.

Removed most of the decals and cleaned off the sticky 'goo' :LOL:....
