Here is another Manitou FS. First owner lived in Colorado, a German forum member bought it as a complete bike several years ago. Found a hairline crack in the seattube and then parted it out. I bought the main frame and assembled a complete bike from spare parts (rear end etc.). Now it's my main retro rider :)

Really like this and thinking I might have to get one myself. How did you fix the seat tube crack?

I didn't. It's still there doing nothing. The crack is where the top tube meets the seat tube (probably former owner was too tall and pulled out the seatpost beyond maximum). The crack hasn't changed for years, however, I watch it carefully nevertheless.
