1994 Kona Fire Mountain build - Merican respray

So I aquired this frame over a year ago with the intention of doing a build that used parts worthy of the condition of the frame, I’ve finally got to that point!

94 Kona Fire Mountain that has been re sprayed by merican in a lovely metallic blue, literally unmarked - apart from some residue from what looks like a shark fin…easily removed.

Next up some mag 21’s that are in fantastic condition but cosmetically and mechanically.

New KMC chain fitted, chainrings and cassette had minimal wear off the doner bike so no issues.

Overall really pleased with his this came out, the colour really pops in the sun and the paintwork is unmarked, looks gorgeous in the flesh.

Wildgrippers are marmite, I know, but I think they suit the build.

Bad news is that all this time I’ve been saving the parts for the build…..the frame is too small for me!!

Going to be in the for sale section soon…..
