Retro Newbie
Hi everyone,

I bought this bike in Provence while we were lucky enough to be living there for my wife to ride. We’re back in the UK now and for some reason she’s not so keen, can’t think why.

It’s a beautiful thing, nice purple fade paint job and a full Compagnolo group:

Veloce cranks
Racing Triple mechs
Athena levers and Mirage calipers
Campag hubs on Rigida rims with good Michelin Dynamic tyres & campag skewers
Flite saddle
3TTT bar and stem

Really well cared for and rides perfectly, it’s a 52cm so too small for me. There are few minor marks here and there. I also realised the bar plugs have dropped out while in storage, so I’ll sort that.

Following the advice below reduced to £450 before I try eBay in a few weeks.

I’m near Chepstow.

James

Agree with above, half that would still be optimistic in todays market. I suggest you look at this section of the forum and see what is/was on offer for comparison. Nice clean bike though and good luck with sale.

It is probably a bit much but I think probably 600 is better. It’s got a flite saddle, campag groupset. It’s a capable road bike. Though I don’t have much expertise in this area

Thanks very much for the replies guys.

I’m a mountain biker so vintage road bikes are outside my wheel house. I’ll amend the price and then try it on eBay after a few weeks if there’s no interest here.
