I bought this bike off ebay in the autumn for my girlfriend. She was happy with the size, but complained it was too heavy  :?
I'd upgraded it to a reasonable standard, with a mix of XT and LX, and while I didn't weigh it, it can't have been more than about 25lbs.
It sat unloved for the winter while I accumulated more bikes and parts
Spring rolled around and I decided that since it isn't being used, I'd make it mine She can still ride it when she wants to though...
I've built it with parts I'd gathered for other builds, that have taken a back seat while I wait on my money being mine again
I had everything I needed except the singlespeed kit, which was £20 off the bay.
My Mum has the same bike, but bigger. This one had the curved forks while my Mum's had straight blades, so I swapped them and my Mum is none the wiser
I've had a quick ride on it today, feels light and quick Not sure about the tires though, they look like they'll get plenty of punctures :?
