1993 MC1 Mardi Gras Adroit (First ride pics c/w mud)

Re: MC1 Adroit (warning may offend)

I have seen something on ebay au that you may want to consider, not so much for the bike but for people looking at it:

hahaha!

This build has all the makings of being horrendously offensive - yet truly epic at the same time, a perfect colour description of the 90's on ACID! lol!

There is a retro clothing shop in Truro that has bike jerseys loud enough to complement this build, why stop at just the bike!

Re: MC1 Adroit (warning may offend)

I've been struggling for 18 months for a suitable purple rear hub.
Below is a pic with the front wheel on.
Would a blue rear hub suit?
The spokes go blue in the centre of the wheel.
Also the granny ring is blue.
Or just put a different wheel in altogether and carry on waiting for a purple hub?
Thanks

On the upside it's nice to look at as it is in the living room.

He's looking into it for me.
Hopefully know tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up though.

Re: MC1 Adroit (warning may offend)

Why don't you add more colours? I once had the idea to fit a green hub and a blue hub, black front canti's purple rear canti's and one yellow grip and a pink grip (or something like that) on my MardiGras.... oh, i forgot something red...

Maybe still a good idea for a future build......

Some progress this week.
New bearings in the headset and BB.
Axle fitted and cranks, along with front mech.
Fitted tyre and tube up front and put on the wheel.
So far so good I'd say.
