... when i first moved back ooooop north they were a local company so many locals had a claud of some discription. magna, virage, vantage, pyshco etc. the paperboys manitou.........kinda haha.
You're not wrong! 😅, I had one (thought it was a Magna, but could have been this model, looked the exact same though).
Bought from one of the catalogues, used for paper rounds and my first "proper" MTB rides with local club "Bad Brains MTB". Upgraded it with DX bits and Dia Compe brakes. Then riding home from Fitzwilliam train station thinking I was Jon Tomac on the Kamikaze downhill 🙄 (actually it was just a kind of fire road descent) managed to stack it big time and broke off the entire dropout 😔. All the bits went onto an Orange Prestige frame a few months later.
It looks great, I remember oversize ally tubing was quite the " thing" back then.
