1992/1993 Doug Bradbury made Manitou frame. Selling to fund another incoming bradbury my size.
- Doug Bradbury made, pre-Answer, one of the last batches
- 16.5” c to c | 18” c to top | 22.5” tt
- wide 145mm rear spacing
- Bradbury modified 145mm hub included
- and long skewer to fit rear dropout
- 1 1/4” head tube
- no cracks
- Reproduction wide 145mm spindle with vintage white industries bottom bracket (unknown condition of bb threads)
- Ringle 31.8 seatpost included
- Bradbury seatpost clamp included
- Bradbury modified XTR M900 front derailleur included
- Two dings in the tt, pictured
- one water bottle bolt spins freely and is stuck in, came this way to me
- derailleur hanger thread is wasted, brand new wheels mfg dropout saver *included* but not drilled out or installed yet, up to you how you want to proceed on the repair. All it takes is 15/32 drill bit and throw in the saver, good as new.

It's an early 92 DB. In August of that year, the first Answer Manitou HT and FS were already manufactured. A shame about the dents, although it would be a nice project to repair and paint over. I give ideas. I already have 2 DB

Early 92 is probably correct but the HT frames were still made in Colorado into 93. Answer was probably building 93 FS frames in 92 but the HT came later. Some of the last HT frames had 135 rear ends and 78mm bb shells like the answer bikes. That M-900 front derailleur was first available to the masses in 93 also but Doug might have had access to them in 92.

My FS is December 92 with SM 175

That sounds like what I would expect. Answer was making those in 92 for the 93 season but Answer wasn't making the hard tails yet. The last of the 7005 hard tails made in Colorado were built over the winter between 92 and 93 and partially used to work out the design for the new answer frames that came out a year or two later.
