1990 SPEED splattered e-stay

Re:

Like it... what are the plans Eef?

I picked up an e-stay frameset a few weeks ago which has splatter paint. Never had an e-stay in all the years I've been into this thing! now I've had 3 in the last year.
Having seen that DBS Kilimanjaro I need some Amps for it.

Plans are to bring it back to rideable condition, keeping it intact as much as possible.
As mentioned earlier, I will change the pedals for SPDs and put on a different set of skinwalls.
I will also change the current set of cranks (170mm) for a set of 175mm (also fc-m730) and in order to be able to shift gears, I'll replace both the shifter cables :).
Brakes will also have to be tweaked slightly, I guess.

I'm hoping it is not too small for me; actual frame size (seat tube measurement) came out a bit smaller as that advertised by the seller..
In that respect, I'll try to run a longer seat post using a 29.4-27.2 shim.

Let's see if I can execute some of these plans this weekend :)!

Like that Pandhit BTW, al!

Re:

Sounds like a plan!

My frame is a little on the small size too, and short across the top. Should be okay, if not it will find another loving home. I think this frame is a 29.4 too, bloody silly size.

I'll be tuning in to watch progress.
