Cool!! I just found this topic on Google. The white definitely looks a lot better.
I've got the same frame, but I painted it blue a long time ago -- Gipiemme dropouts and all. I cracked the right rear dropout twice, probably from hopping curbs.
Below is a pic from 1992. I obviously took off the stickers.
The last time I looked up the serial number, what I found said that it's a 1988 model. I bought just the frame (new) in 1991 for $529 Aus dollars, which was a decent price at the time.
The last time I weighed the frame bare, it was 1865g, which I figure isn't too shabby for an old lugged steel frame
I loved it for years, but I don't ride it much these days. It was my number one bike for over ten years (I didn't spend much money on cycling in the '90s, but I still rode a lot), before good aluminium frames started turning up for sale on the used market, and I got curious.
