Negative. This, as well as the Kona I posted, use older cassettes that didn't use lockrings. The smallest cog threaded on and acted as a lockring. It's the same Lennard Zinn. Not sure if it went through any extensive rebuild before I got it. I bought it at a yard sale from a couple who used to live in Boulder, Colorado. They had a few other bikes for sale (A Cannondale among them) but the Zinn is the only one I bought. According to Lennard, he built the bike for a team road rider so she could give mountain biking a try. Not sure who the rider was or how well she fared though...he said the fork was designed to allow the biggest tire available to fit, with room left over for flex and to avoid any rubbing...dirttorpedo":23v5dyni said:Beautiful bike.
