I wanted to say Hello from North America..... and show you my daily commuter:

Found while on a tandem tour from Normandy to Budapest in 2012. This is now my daily rider.
The last picture is how I found the bicycle in original condition. I've had to make some reversible Changes to allow for the 16% grades and mile of gravel road before I can reach a sealed surface on my daily rides.

Nice bike 😍 this thread may be of some interest to you.

Hey.. Thanks for the link,
some very nice bicycles shown... I am amazed how easily the French threads and sizes seem to perplex anglo sensibilities ? I'm teutonic thru and thru and I find the whole french thing very endearing. I enjoy the search.
The Bara frame there is amazing

Kind regards,

Hi John,
You are a better man than I :) . French standards are challenging to say the least, that said I love the bicycles. Which is why I started the thread.

This is a light hearted thread you might enjoy.

Welcome.

I have to agree to a point; but then again you have a bike that is really worth it. I've probably bored too many people, but I do think if you find something worth it, launch yourself into a French bike to widen horizons and preserve something that will never ever ever happen again.
