Sorted 10 speed rear derailleur

Marin Fan
I made a bit of a boo boo. As you know my beloved Marin broke and to try and let some of it live on I transferred a lot of the parts to my old Giant Trance including the 1x10 drivetrain so i can use that in the 24hr races. I didn't check the fitting and it turns out that my 2013 marin had a special derailleur fitting which doesn't fit my 2007 trance. Doh!

So does anyone have a 10 speed rear derailleur? I'm going to be using a 42tooth cassette so will need a long cage. Clutch would be ideal but have a narrow wide chainring and rarely used the clutch on the marin so without should be fine.

Anyone able to help? Cheers.

I'll have a look tomorrow, I might have something spare, not 100% but will confirm.

I've got a good condition zee FR mech which works perfectly up to a 42t cassette. It's one of my favourite shimano products because it's so compact and robust. I've run a few of them on different bikes on all sorts of terrain over the years and they've been great. After £25 posted.
Can take a picture this evening.

I’ve got an XT rear in great order for £20 posted if that helps?
Do you know what model it is by any chance so I can check the capacity (some of the xt ones could only do 36t apparently) and is it a long cage? As long as it works with the setup that sounds absolutely perfect. To be honest as long as I can get the Giant rideable that's all I want so will make do with whatever I can afford. Cheers.

Just checked and that ones a maximum of 36t cassette. Designed for a 2x10 system apparently. Might work with a goatlink but if I can avoid that I will. Cheers though.
