Northants Mini Meet - Salcey Forest 7th March - Aftermath

As soo a I get a car rack I wil make the time to get ove to Salcey and that railway line too. I'm also a bit reluctant to ride my Zaskar as it's in such good condition I would hate to scrape it! Maybe my first 're-learning' rides should be on an old scrot. I know! What a woos!

Northamptonshire rides?? - New pics 14/2/10

I haven't ridden for over 30 years and I'm just going to throw myself on my 'new' Zaskar and go anywhere. I have no maps for this sort of thing but will start looking for suitable ones maybe old OS maps from a charity shop?

Disherwasher for the missis or Klein frame for me?????????

As I work on domestic appliances all week I would advise, if you can't get your own way, to keep away from Bosch/Neff d/w's as they are now made with a stupid combined thermostat/heating element which costs around £165 (average is £60!) and depending on the unit can take upwards of 3 hours...

Stolen Gt Zaskar-Kettering Northants-Seen in Cash Converters

I saw a GT Zaskar with polished frame and full XTR's with loads of Anodized bits like the wheels etc etc... At the time I had no idea about bikes (motorbikes yes but not cycles) and asked them to reserve it for me. I was gone for about an hour or so to get an idea of its value before buying it...

I was at this reservoir and I'm interested in making it a regular trip. Any comments if it's worth it or not please?

Northants Mini Meet - Salcey Forest 7th March - Aftermath

I must admit I was thinking of taking a ride round there. Has anyone ridden the old railway tracks south of Market Harborough? From the brief glimpse I got it looked promising.

Does anyone remember Don Farrell's in Hemel Hempstead 1970's

I purchased my first racer from there or rather it was a present from my Auntie. I seem to remember it was about £110 which was loads back in '72! It had a Farrell frame and 10 gears which I thought was soo cool then. Can't remember much more about it so I'd best dig out a photo which may jog...

Northamptonshire rides?? - New pics 14/2/10

I'm over in Rushden so not many miles away. I was over Grafham water at the weekend to check it out and it looks worth at least one ride to check it out. Certainly busy though!
