Hey all! Looking for a locking nut for a 1" headset. Bike is a 1995 KHS Montan Comp and I believe the headset is a 1" Tien Hsin. Basically the one I have is threaded, will post a picture when I'm home from work.... looking for something similar if anyone can help. Cheers Big_Ads

Thanks to all above - Just so the answer is captured here the BB is a 68x110 - ordered new BB and the project's back up and running now!! will post up some pics once it's done!

Cheers lewis, Must admit I was like a schoolboy when that BB came out today :oops: - was expecting to have to admit defeat and have the wife berate me for months for buying a useless bike from fleabay and it going nowhere....

Thanks again FluffyChicken, will give it a try. HAd a look on the BB and there's nothing on it apart from some serial numbers and the fact that it's 68mm. Sometime soon I will have it on the road!!

If I was to measure the one that came out, where would I have to measure to / from?

Cheers Fluffy Chicken, Its a Sugino Impel (350 according to the Brochure) 22, 32, 42 if the Ring size makes any difference. I think its the same one that came with the bike originally.

Well I have no choice as yet as they came with the bike and work a treat! So no need to replace. Aiming to get the bike as stock as poss before I tinker. Unfortunately the tattiest part of the bike appears to be the frame. Majority of the components and hubs are spot on!

Chaps - a bit of a noob question :oops: , I was wondering if I needed specific gear cables for Grip shifters? (Not stripped them down yet) or can I use any cable at all?
