BULLET BROTHERS CHAIN TENSIONER!

Tricky

Retro Newbie
Very old school Bullet Brothers Chain Tensioner. I dont think that I ever used this. It has the original mech securing block and both original springs which add the tension. one is for xc riding, the other for DH riding.

The arm comes in a nice anodised red finish and I'll include a friction ring that stops the tension arm from slipping when held tight by the skewer (skewer not included).

This little fella was popular back in the 90's along with the DCD for keeping the chain tesioned on downhill bikes (back then nothing more than a stock XC bike with a big chainring!!)

It fits onto the rear axle and the other end clamps to your rear mech. The spring keeps the mech from flapping about.

An nice finishing touch to that retro MTB build!

Reet, hole in the main bar goes over the rear skewer rod and is held in place by the screw down bit. The spring attaches to the rear mech via the black semi-cut down gubbin.... take the wee bolt out, slide it over the rear mech's 'fold' of metal by the lower jockey wheel, put the bolt back in a smidgen, add the end of the spring and then tighten everything up. Et voila!

obviously not genuinely interested are you mate? Ok, so price is £20 posted. Please ring only on 07799 135716
