Does anyone know what size seat post a 1993 42.5cm m trax 500 duo tech will take? I would appreciate the help. Oh, and headset size too...

27.0 mm was the standard size for the 1993 Duo Tech frames. The headset size is 1-1/8".

I've reduced mine on here. Given the Campagnolo wheels, I think it's about right.

Do the duo tech frames have a detachable rear mech hanger or is it just a bolt straight on jobby?

Hi all,

I know this is not the for sale section but just a quick heads up if anyone is interested. Unfortunately I think I'm going to have to let my MT4 frame go due to another build. It's 16/17" IIRC and in really good condition. Also have a USE shockpost with matching shim or carbon post. A nice stripped MTrax Ti stem is available too. I'm going to be looking at what I paid for it, £80 (for the frame...other parts extra), and ideally collected from Sheffield.

I'll shortly have some Pace Pro Class 1's available, which were going to go on it, and nearly full LX/XT build kit available with XT V-brakes and XT Parallax/Mavic wheelset.

Actually I'm starting to talk myself out of it now!!

I'll get some pics up this week.

Cheers

John
