I've heard that the CK titanium headset is prone to creaking when coupled with a titanium frame.....
so I opted for the aluminium instead.

so far the forks have only been ridden on the road and they feel good over the bumps.
not as flexy as I was expecting which, actually, is a good thing.

I've got a pair of 80mm Fox forks for when the terrain is tough off road
but I anticipate 80% of my offroad xc will be done on the ridged fork.

I'll keep you posted on how the fork goes offroad as I find out!

Very nicely put together and specc'd 8) was it a weenie project?

not specifically a weenie project but I guess it is fairly light
I'll weigh it on Tuesday and then ammend the thread for anyone who cares for such things.
