I bought the Team frame a while ago knowing it would need refinishing. I had difficulty find a suitable rigid fork for it. So when a NOS Comp frameset came up, I thought I use the fork off that and the frame as a guide for refinishing the Team.

However, now the Comp has arrived, it's rather nice and both frames weigh about the same :?

So to save myself the cost of getting the Team refinished I'll build up the Comp with the M900 kit instead, what do you think? :?

The inspiration :)

It really is very nice and equally as nice to build onto a 'new' frame :D

 love these KHS', I think you made the right choice keeping the comp together - these NOS frame sets will get rarer and rarer and its nice to see them kept together.

Needs a chain though ;)

:) I have a review of this bike :) lovely colours, always liked KHS.

very underated, and good MTB's, looks like another minter.

The polished M900 will go perfectly too :)

Wow !

I am about to shed a nostalgic tear. That very bike was my first real mountainbike back in 1993 and oh how I loved it. The colour scheme was fantastic then and it still is imo.

You have really made a stunning retro bike here. Good job!

And should you ever want to sell it, please please let me know.

Very, very nice. KHS were never really on my radar bitd except for this colour. Always looked cool and still does

Saying that, it'd look better with M735 XT so I'll swap you mine for the M900. ;)
