Kona Cindercone 1991 /1992 seatpost size please???

Hi guys i have a 1991 / 1992 Cindercone but its at the spray shop at teh mo and i need to know what size the seatpost is?, can anyone advise??

26.6 apparently

And it changed to 27.0 in 1998.

It'll be either 26.8 or 27.0,depeding on the individual frame it seems from experiance! Then later ones were 27.2

Hmmmm - interesting - mine is deffo 26.4

Well it's a 26.8 on my 89 Cinder Cone that I'm currently using as a work bike and it was 26.8 on the 92 one I had a few years ago but then it was 27.2 on the 98 I had last year and it's 27.2 on both the 98 Kilauea and 07 Unit that I've got kickin around in my hallway! The 92 explosif of my girlfriends dad has a 27.0, so I would think you're best off waiting for your frame to come back before getting a seatpost!

Dear Mr Panda,

May I inquire as to your method of measurement please? And are you measuring the downtube or the actual seat post?

I am finding exactly the same, about 26.7 something on the downtube using the verniers and I can only find 26.0mm posts. Know of any good 26.4mm ones??
