:? I thought you wanted a three ring chainset Dr.s :?

Unless I am visually impaired that is a two ring chainset

These bikes either had a 32/48 or a 26/36/48 fitted when new. I have a selection of TA rings so can go for either options.

Wheel porn!
These are the ultimate wheels for an early mtb. Phil Wood hubs, UKAI rims, Campag QRs and 28/13 Shimano 600 6 speed freehub. Lovely looking wheels that gave the piggybank a real hammering.

wow.

will it be finished in time for BOTM this time round?

what tyres are those?

I'm going to wait for a 1970's BoTM Special
Seriously, it won't be ready until around easter and i intend to out it on the 3 Tribes Ride in late April.

The tyres are unbranded junk from eBay. They have no logos, a very oldskool looking tread pattern which really suits Klunkers, they are very soft compound and are superb in the corners but wear very quickly. Best part is the price; they are £9 a pair. I have a stockpile of them to keep this bike and my Schwinn on the trails for a good few years.
