What type front mech on Giant MCM Carbon frame?

Should I be using a SRAM front mech as seen as all the rest of my components are SRAM X0? Also can I use any 9 speed chain with this lot or does it have to be something specific? Or can I use XT/XTR with no problems as far as the front mech?
