yes, cheapest car hire is £50 but I'm not sure I'll get 2 bikes inside a Kia picanto 1 litre - a clio/fiesta 1 litre might manage it especially as the engine obviously isn't taking up much space.
I might get the train to my parents in fife on friday night and get them to run me over but that is a lot of hassle for them.
