Finally completed the Rossin Team Shimano project and am considering selling to make way for the next project. £395.00 sounds fair.
Rossin Bikes are from Milan and the company was started by a former Colnago employee.
They were used in the 80s by TDF pros includinh Henny Kuiper and Roger de Vlamenck.
Frame is 54 cm. Columbus tubing with investment cast unions. Front lugwork and forks detailed.
Shifter cables are routed through BB
Spec as follows.
Wheels: Suntour hubs and QR fully serviced and just rebuilt with DT Swiss double Butted s/s spokes on original Weinmann rims ( clinchers ). New Michelins 23s
Shimano 600 levers, calipers, arabesque derailers, all mint and perfect working order. new brake lever hoods.
New Shimano gear cables and new Dia Compe brake cables.
pantographed lapade fluted stem. Ambrosio bars and 100 mm stem.
Ultegra Octalink 52/39 crankset and 14-28 freewheel.
Also available Rossin factory decals for future refinishing in required.
Rare profil aero bottle and cage as per 1978 Rossin catalog.
