Hi all, I've got some trouble with the Rock Shox Indy's. If I lift the front of the bike by the handle bars, the bottom of the forks drop about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. The bottom of the forks don't drop anymore than that, or feel like they will come off. Is this just a case of the inners being worn? Or not put back together properly? I've only just bought the bike they are on, so don't know what has been done to them. Thanks

If it's 'drops' then when you place them back down they go back (i.e. it's free to move between the two points.
Then most likely your Elastomers are shot.
Undo the caps and have a look. Easy to do.
Not sure what year you have but TypeII springs will be close or read the Quadra or Judy manuals
