94 GT Zaskar, new stickers 20/12/09.

i like that alot, used to have a 16" 97 zaskar le myself, liked it alot. the 16's look so much nicer than the 18's cos the top tube slopes more making it look loads better.

liking the gold forks aswel

i'm going against the grain stickers wise though, i prefer seeing "GT" on the downtube and "zaskar" on the toptube but that's just me.

main thing is though that will be a lovely rider and that's the most important thing!

Jimi, keep in mind the extender only works on steel steerers - if its aluminium, those steerers are slightly too thick and it won't fit inside.

If I remember right, it's quite clever - the bolt that tightens the quill bit is hollow and threaded at the top, so it acts as the star nut too. The 'spacers' on the extender aren't - you just add/subtract them to get the required height, they sit flush on top of the fork.

Georgeous work by the way, you really can't beat a shiney GT frame

Got the new stickers on during the week

Changed the stem for one that fits the steerer better for now, also changed the bars for risers as the front was just too low.

Gils stickers are superb
