Recommend me a GPS

Thinking of getting a Garmain one like Gumps (forget which model, etrex something I think). Assume it's a good model since Gump is a pretty clued up chap but is this still the one to go for? Is colour worthwhile??

I have a Garmin Vista C. It is the same as a Legend but it has a built in compass, I haven't had any major problems. So it always points to your next waypoint (and which way is north!!). But the handle bar clip is an extra. The next generation the 'x' models have a SD card slot to increase the memory. Hope something here is of some help !!

ahh, that was it with the Vista.
Also has a barometric altitude instead of the triangular altitude calc mine uses.

I use tracks all the time, and just follow the dots
