Before you feel any need to sell it with a health warning over the fork, have you tried asking Hilts about his?
I think he has had two of these, both with Track Twos. It would be interesting to know whether he has ridden his hard and whether he has any anxieties about them. I know there was some form of recall, but I don't know the details. Sometimes a recall is just for a thorough check, other times it's for a mandatory replacement, depends on the nature of the problem.
I have photos of ten of these in my collection, and only one has a P2 fork. It's hard to believe that there can be all that much wrong with the Track Two if 90% of 1990 Explosifs run on them apparently happily.
