EBAY: Very Original DAWES LONDONER racer - start bid 99p

Hi Folks,

New to the retrobike forum but not to retro bikes. Between myself and my partner we are great horders of our childhood owned (or always wanted to own) bikes and everything else, to that matter.

Well, a house move thats meant quite a loss of space is a good boot up the backside for a clear out.

Thought this one might be of interest to some members here. Also, keep an eye out as theres a couple more old bikes and parts to come... thats the plan anyway.

DAWES LONDONER retro racer - very original bike and ready to ride.

Frame: Dawes LONDONER

Wheel rims: Weinmann alloy rims - 27" front and rear

Hubs: Maillard - front and rear

Tyres: Michelin World Tour - 27" x 1 1/4" front and rear

Brake Calipers: Weinmann Vainqueur 750 - front and rear

Brake Levers: Weinmann - front and rear

Gears: Suntour ARX - 10 speed, Alloy cranks 52 tooth large front ring

Handlebars: Dawes

Seat: Selle Royal (No rips)

Weight: Approx. 13kg / 29lb (Not bad at all for a steel frame loaded up with mudguards, pannier racks etc)

Size: Centre of top tube to centre of bottom bracket = 25 inches

That depends how much you want it but I certainly would not want to pay more than £70...

not a bad guess....it went for 72!
