Are these Raliegh Ti frames any good? Where they commissioned by another Mfr. e.g. Merlin/Litespeed?

I don't believe so. I think they were some of the first examples of ChiTanium frames, but they still have some old-school cool factor.

I'm really not interested as I have to grab the YO first.

they wern't chinese they were russian timet titanium, they are quite a good frame, not quite in the litespeed/merlin league but no where near the price either,

wasn't there a whole bunch of ex-military Russian titanium kicking around at that time that they used IIRC?
