Mag 21 SL TI

so these must be later models then! Ya learn something new every day.
By the way are SL's the same as SL ti's & what does the SL stand for?

Probably not later, more likely that they have a standard brace of a pair of Mag 20 / 21 forks.

SL - Super Light?

There were 2 SL models, Mag 21 SL and Mag 21 SL/Ti. The difference was that the SL/Ti model had titanium bolts and brake posts.
Colouring and decals were a bit different too.

Probably switched the brace to a normal one as they are stonger and less flexy (normal = Al, SL = Mg)

The main difference between the MAG21 SL/SLTi and the MAG21 '94 (all 1994 btw) is the steerer and crown. It's Alu of some sort, also only ahead as it's Alu, and the crown is a better 7000 series, as oppsed to a 2000 series one. Which I assume its to help counteract the increased flex form the Mg brace.

That and a fancy laquer. Sl suppose to be a green-gold colour and the SLTi a translucent gold colour.

Wow nice one fellas. Makes me wonder though how much weights saved with the SL Ti's, surely it cant be that much & knowing how much titanium kit was/is
wether it was worth the extra cost.Did it have more travel?
