ive got my mrs on a singlespeed on the basis of " well are you going to put the gears on "

Yeah, I've not looked back since I did my commuter, even a trip round teh block testing my Muddy Fox for possible gears on my new en i stuck in one (of 21) gear anyway.

I reckon gear shifters are like the zoom button on camcorders, even if ya know to leave it alone ya will still fanny around with it with no real result!

Loving those chrome chainguards BTW.
