Thanks, I am aware of the BaggI-Samyn (not the same as the Belgium Samyn of later decades) collaboration in the 20s, but I cannot find any info regarding the Baggi marque on its own. The frame is very lightweight for its year (I need to weigh it before I get it rebuilt); 27.2mm seat post. It has a killer looking chainwheel; it will be a good submission for the fancy ring (hint hint!) RBotM contest when finished.

I have posted it on other forums trying to get definitive info regarding the bike and the various parts manufacturers. I will post this bike as a separate listing with full photos.

I am also not entering but will post a couple of lugs for reference before I lock this.
These at first glance don't look much out the ordinary, and maybe they aren't but this frame was built by Brian Rourke many years back for a fellow team mate and friend, it was built for him as a present for his wife on their wedding anniversary.
Now I have other more 'fancy' type lugs but while Brians work is always top class. Even with the sad paint, I believe you can see the care put into these, be it the shoreline or the brazing for his good friends and this special frame.
Just thought I would share before closing

I believe this frame (repainted as received) is an early '70s Motobecane Grand Record with Nervex lugs custom to Motobecane frames only. Very similar to their early "Pro" lugs from the '50s with "horns" instead of the "fishtail" frontal feature.
