For fans of continental retro cycling

Retro Ronde has just announced this years event for for 30-31 May https://www.rvvseries.com/

This gives me an excuse to post up a few other notifications which have come to my in-box recently

With La Pedals de Clip also in May https://lapedalsdeclip.cat/en/home-2/ It will be a busy month.

Eroica Limburg on 26-27 June https://eroica.cc/en/limburg, 40 years after Joop won the TdF there will be a big TI-Raleigh ride on the Friday.

The weekend after is Anjou Velo Vintage https://www.anjou-velo-vintage.com/en/

and apparently there some ride in Italy first Sunday in October.

Registration now open for what is a fab weekend in Flanders with easy access from the UK, beer, frites...and a whole bunch of cobbles and stupidly steep climbs :D

Will be there as well. 6th time for the mrs and me. Probably our favorite event.

BTW, I put up a list with more European events planned for 2020 over at the neighbours'. (If this link constitutes a faux pas, let me know)

email just in: RR cancelled for 2020

No great surprise given where we currently find ourselves.

A further mail will give info on refunds/registration for other events.

I fear this will be the first of many cancellations between now and the summer. Looking on the bright side it gives me another year to finish my build!

Looks like this season's riding will be mostly hub-and-spoke touring from home, corona measures permitting. Could be good fun too, though.
