The RB Official Road Cycling Book Review Thread

Just finished Anquetil, Alone by Paul Fournel.
An interesting perspective and some nice little stories of the man and his mindset. Obviously loads on Poulidor and the battles. I did struggle with the translation at the start but once I got into to it enjoyed it. Nice little book.

Just finished Vas-y-Barry! by Barry Hoban Some great stories in there covering his 19 year career riding along side some of the greatest names in cycling from that era Anquetil, Merckx and Hinault. This was written from the heart in a no nonsense Yorkshire fashion which comes across very strongly in the book.
