Be quiet. He can't say just yet.
My friends Merida cracked and was told by his LBS and the importers/distributors that it was out of warranty.
He sent a polite letter and some pics to the Head Office in Japan and got a prompt reply from both them and the factory in Taiwan.
His new frame arrived in less than two weeks.
Worth a try if all else fails.
