Firstly it's alloy not ti. Why chop it from left to right? And the price!!! :shock:

Ah, but it's Nos, see. Must be that really rare edition that came from the factory with hacksaw marks visible in the cut.

But if it were going in a down hill / full sus frame (say like a Kona U'hu, with an interrupted seat tube) it would have been cut shorter front to back, or level, not left to right.
