What bottom bracket?

I'm looking for a new bb for my winter bike. I've got a set of XTR M770 cranks to fit, which means a change is needed (and the old one is getting a bit creaky!).
Any suggestions over the usual shimano offerings?

Nothing really.
I agree, I've seen XT models for £20 new, so it's a hard one to beat.
Just seeing what other options people have tried, and liked

Like my hope ones. Have found raceface ones (and shimano) to wear out quickly. Very variable though.

...I've had XTR BB90 bottom brackets and have nothing but good to stuff to say about them...yeah you could get a hope one for 3 or 4 times the price... but the one on my '08 rift zone I had on for over 2 years and was still going strong! I have just replaced the same model XTR BB on my carbon 29er thinking this was the problem with some creaky sounds that I was getting...it wasn't! So I have a spare XTR BB going if your interested...less than 6 months use!
