Pedals with toe clips - What shoes do you wear?

I bought these to get the badges -

They were brilliant and super soft leather (possibly kangaroo) but too small for me - now my mate has them - he has dainty ballet feet!

No toe straps, and I'd never fit a kick stand to one of my road bikes.

Bet you'd get up the hill quick enough if she was in front

I have found a few European trader on the bay who seem to specialise in shoes, cleats and other 70's kit, so I am starting to do some regular searches. I'm sure something will turn up in my size soon.

If not, some Gola trainers will do the job. ;)

My Golas went to the bin in 1976 - big holes in the soles, i still miss them!!

If you come across a pair of black lace-up perforated leather shoes in a 10.5 - 11 UK size, please give me a shout.

Do a search for vintage cycling shoes on the bay, and look at what's available in Europe. You may get lucky, as unsurprisingly smaller and bigger sizes seem more plentiful. Watch the prices though, as some of the French and Italian traders seem to think that shoe which did not sell back in the 70's and 80's are now in huge demand, if their prices are anything to go by.
