Wtd: 1" threaded road forks

Hi - I've got a customer with a lovely 653 Cougar, which has met with a nasty mishap and needs new forks.

Does anyone have any nice forks I could fit to it? I thought I'd bought some Kestrel carbon forks on 't eBay, but it looks like the seller is being useless...

How long does the steerer need to be?

175mm or longer - should have mentioned also they're for a 700c wheel.

In a few days I'll have 200mm Zeus Chrome forks available.

I have a set of 653 forks in royal blue with chromed crown and chromed dropouts......steerer is longer than 175mm but some of the threads might need retapping...or recutting by my LBS.......pics on request.....£40 [£30 if no retapping is needed] posted if you are interested that is.
