Anyone recommend a good bike insurance company?

Anyone that writes home owners or renter insurance should be able to write you a rider on your policy that would cover your bike(s) and personal property.

I went with British cycling that covers my top bike for theft and more importantly damage during riding. It's for exact like for like replacement too.

I used to be with Cycle Guard who are the company that British Cycling use for their insurance, however this year I when through British Cycling as opposed to buying direct from Cycle Guard and saved about 40% of the renewal price.

There are various threads on stw on this. It used to be M&S who we are with, but they are bringing in a limit. If your bikes are above that, you have to pay more

Insurance and good are mutually exclusive.
Buy a decent bike lock, lock it in your house to another bike upstairs. Tell the Mrs the situation isn't negotiable. Job jobbed.
