Hello expert peoples!

I am looking to fit a suspension fork to my 1994 Kona Kilhauea and wondered what make, model and travel will be best for XC usage.
I am currently using a set of Project Twos with an aheadset, so the steerer is not the original threaded item. I want to get something to make the front end a little softer as I plan to use the bike for a ride across Northern Spain next year. I used to have a set of the the original Judy XCs (Gold) but moved them on years ago, so assume that Judy XCs, Marzocchi Bomber Z1 or others will be age related and suitable. I don't want any more than 80mm travel as this will compromise the frame geometry.

What suggestions and availability do people have (no rude comments)?

Marzocchi Bomber Z2 would be my starting point: works well, parts readily available, easily overhauled.

Another vote here for Marzocchi Z2 - anyway, Konas and 'Zokes are made for each other.
