My latest project although I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.

There are a few scratches and scrapes on the frame but nothing too bad, if I plan keeping it it will get a repaint

Reynolds 531 tubing with Suntour F&R derailleurs, TA cranks, cantilever brakes and a rear hub brake.

Gave the rear wheel a service today and took it for a spin along the street, just need my stoker to give it a proper test drive now

My mate came to visit me today, so we decided to try out the tandem, I must add that he isn't a regular cyclist. Not sure what happened but can only assume that with his 15 stone on the back and my 10 stone up front, the weight distribution was all wrong. We moved away from the side of the road and the tandem was all over the place, completely un-steerable so after a couple attempts and nearly killing ourselves we swapped places, that was a little better and managed to cover about a mile before my mate decided it would be safer walking back home.
