.... ebay got the better of me and I ended up getting another bike, a cheapie so will see how bad it is tomorrow.... :?

my third Gary Fisher (early 00s I think) .... with hindsight a totally stupid thing to do as I am really am out of storage space .......

it's here, 2000 X-Caliber. Cheap but not overly nasty.

+ points
+ frame is Aluminium top notch Genesis geometr, did not spot any crack or serious damage :?
+ frame is Large accroding to faded sticker
+ rare Hayes disc brakes :?:
+ Marzocchi forks - not sure of condition

- points
- paint is not great in some places but not too bad. :(
- will be stripping headset, hubs, forks brakes
- crap saddle
- seapost is low range and has shim (don't like shims!)
- Hayes brake levers are clunky

don't think it is a keeper but'll keep me occupied for a little bit.

at the front of the bike, you can just about see a short length of white brake cable outer near the stem .... yep, that is curtain wire!!!

loooks better in photo than in real life - frame decals are faded on one side, lots of minor scratches and paint loss but struturally sound.

it is all in bits now - finished overhauling the z3s.

will need:
- outer/middle and possibly inner chainring
- chain
- cassette
- front mech
