Well, the gamble really paid off and I am a very happy boy tonight.
Went to pick up the PM tonight. The seller was a really genuine bloke and had bought the bike new in late 1988.
From what I can see the bike has hardly been out. It even has the ghost of the Marin logo on the side of the gel saddle. I think mine wore off first time out.
Stopped on the way home and just took some quick pictures. It all needs a good clean and lube up but everything works great. The thumbies still have the protective cling film stuff on the top.
I will post up more pics once I have cleaned and serviced.
